1. Select Scenario and Media.
Select one of the land use scenarios under the "Select Scenario" list.
Select one or more media to assess under the "Select Media" list.
2. Select Radionuclides Data Source.
There are two choices:
"Database hierarchy defaults" - calculations will be performed using default toxicity values and radinuclide-specific parameters. Users can still edit exposure parameters at the next window.
"User-provided" - this option allows editing of the default toxicity values and radionclide-specific parameters after clicking "Retrieve (new tab)" at the bottom of the form.
3. Select Units.
Select the desired units for output (pCi or Bq).
4. Select Radionuclides of Interest.
Select individual radionuclides of Interest by first clicking in the box. Then either scroll through the list or type the radioculide name. Click on the highlighted name to add it to the list.
Clear all selected radionuclides by clicking the "clear all selections" button.
5. Display Risk Output in Percentage.
This option helps indentify the radionuclide(s) driving the risk. If selected, results based on percentage will be displayed in a table after the risk results. See the full user guide for more information.
6. Click "Retrieve (new tab)".
After clicking "Retrieve (new tab)" for "Database hierarchy defaults", enter media concentrations and edit any default exposure parameters at the next page.
If "User-provided" was selected in step 2, edit necessary exposure parameters, default toxicity values, and radionuclide-specific parameters at the next window along with entering media concentrations.
At the bottom of this page, click "Retrieve (new tab)" for the results.
Press "Clear" on the bottom of this page to reset all parameters to default values.
7. Review and Export Results.
Input parameters and Risk results for each selected media are presented.
