1. Enter a Project Title.
If you choose to, type a name for you project into the "Project Title" box.
This title will be applied to the results.
2. Select Scenario and Media.
Select one of the land use scenarios under the "Select Scenario" list.
Select one or more media to assess under the "Select Media" list.
3. Select Radionuclides Data Source.
"Database hierarchy defaults" - calculations will be performed using default toxicity values and radionuclide-specific parameters. Users can still edit exposure parameters at the next window.
"User-Provided" - this option allows editing of the default toxicity values and radionuclide-specific parameters after clicking "Retrieve (new tab)" at the bottom of the form.
4. Select Units.
Select the desired units for output (pCi or Bq).
5. Select Radionuclides of Interest.
Select individual radionuclides of interest by clicking in the box and typing the name, or by scrolling and clicking to add. To add all radionuclides, check the "ALL" box in the "Or Select All" section.
6. Display Risk Output in Percentage.
This option helps identify the radionuclide(s) driving the risk. If selected, results based on percentage will be displayed in a table after the risk results. See the full user guide for more information.
7. Click the "Retrieve (new tab)" button.
After clicking "Retrieve (new tab)" for "Database hierarchy defaults", enter media concentrations and edit any default exposure parameters at the next page.
If "User-Provided" was selected in step 2, edit necessary exposure parameters, default toxicity values, and radionuclide-specific parameters at the next window along with entering media concentrations.
At the bottom of this page, click "Retrieve (new tab)" for the results.
Press "Clear" on the bottom of this page to reset all parameters to default values.
8. Review and Export Results.
Input parameters and Risk results for each selected media are presented.
At the top of the final page are options to "Output to XLS" and "Output to PDF".
