Ecological Benchmark Tool for Radionuclides

Screening ecological benchmarks are used to identify concentrations in environmental media that are at or below thresholds for effects to ecological receptors. This tool presents benchmarks for radionuclides from two sources: Los Alamos National Laboratory Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) benchmarks.

Please consult the radionuclide section in the user's guide for more details about the benchmarks, usage of this tool, and guidance on ecological risk assessments.

*For sediment and surface water, the generic category contains benchmarks applicable to both fresh water and marine or where no differentiation was made by the source. These values are not repeated in the fresh water and marine categories. Likewise, values listed in the fresh water and marine categories are not repeated in the generic categories.
