1. Select Benchmark Sources
Select benchmark source(s) by clicking on all desired sources from the selection box.
Remove a source by clicking the "x" beside a selected source.
Automatically select all sources by clicking the checkbox next to "Select All Benchmark Sources."

2. Select Media
Select media by clicking on all desired types in the selected box.
Remove a media type by clicking the "x" beside a selected media.
Automatically select all sources by clicking the checkbox next to "Select All Benchmark Sources."
Note: for sediment and surface water, the generic category contains benchmarks applicable to both fresh water and marine or where no differentiation was made by the source. These values are not repeated in the fresh water and marine categories. Likewise, values listed in the fresh water and marine categories are not repeated in the generic categories.

3. Select Individual Contaminants
Select a contaminant by highlighting it in the left box and clicking the ">>" button to move it to the box on the right.
Remove a contaminant from the right box by highlighting it and clicking the "<<" button.
Select multiple contaminants by holding down the Control key (if the contaminant names are adjacent) or the Select key (if the contaminant names are not adjacent).
The criteria search will be conducted for the contaminants in the box on the right.

4. Click "Retrieve."
The calculator run time will correspond with the number of contaminants selected.

5. Review and Export Results
Click "Export Data" to download in the selected benchmarks in spreadsheet (.xls) format.
Click "New Search" to begin a new benchmark search.
