Welcome the groundwater transport calculator. This tool uses the same transport models for the soil to groundwater option in the Chemical Risk Calculator. The Chemical Risk Calculator User's Guide provides details on the models and their inputs. The basic transport equation images are repeated on the second page of this calculator. To use this tool, simply pick your chemicals and enter your soil concentrations. The results page will give you the tap water concentration.
Select your chemicals of interest from the pick list and hit Retrieve.
Enter your soil concentrations on the next page.
Edit the values in white cells and hit Retrieve.
The output will give you a table of your soil properties and a second table the chemical-specific parameters used to calculate the tap water concentration.
