Karessa has a M.S. in Geography with a minor in Computational Science and a B.S. in Geology and Environmental Studies with a minor in Geography from the University of Tennessee. She manages and executes quality assurance protocols and model development for online tools by developing equations and updating user guidance for the RAIS and 13 similar web-based tools for the US EPA spanning chemical and radiological risk issues.
