The groundwater transport calculator uses the same transport models for the soil to groundwater option in the Radionuclide Risk Calculator. The Radionuclide Risk Calculator User's Guide provides details on the models and their inputs. The basic transport equation images are repeated on the second page of this calculator. To use this tool, simply pick your radionuclides and enter your soil concentrations. The results page will give you the tap water concentration.
Select one or more radionuclides of interest from the pick list and click Retrieve.
2. Enter Soil Concentrations.
Enter soil concentrations for the selected radionuclides on the next page.
3. Edit Parameters and Retrieve.
Edit the values in the white cells as needed and click Retrieve.
4. Review and Download Results.
The output will provide a table of soil properties and a second table with the radionuclide-specific parameters used to calculate the tap water concentration.
The soil and tap water concentrations are highlighted in blue.
