Welcome the groundwater transport calculator. This tool uses the same transport models for the soil to groundwater option in the Radionuclide Risk Calculator. The Radionuclide Risk Calculator User's Guide provides details on the models and their inputs. The basic transport equation images are repeated on the second page of this calculator. To use this tool, simply pick your radionuclides and enter your soil concentrations. The results page will give you the tap water concentration.
Select the radionuclide(s) of interest from the pick list and hit Retrieve.
Enter soil concentrations on the next page.
Edit the values in white cells and hit Retrieve.
The output will provide a table of soil properties and a second table with the radionuclide-specific parameters used to calculate the tap water concentration.
